Night-time water works in Enfield and Dunboyne tonight

Residents may experience disruption to supply

Essential night-time works at Enfield Water Treatment Plant and Dunboyne Water Treatment Plant are to be carried out tonight (Thursday).

While works are ongoing customers in the following locations may experience temporary disruption to their supply such as low water pressure and/or water outages for short periods, Irish Water says.

In Enfield, customers in Gleniden, Moyfenrath, The Courtyard, Delmear, New Inn, Blackwater Close, Glen Abhainn, Rathdale, Innwood, Coachyard Manor, Newcastle Woods, Enfield Court, Baynefield, Trim Road, Dublin Road, Johnstown Road and surrounding areas may experience temporary disruption between 11pm tonight, Thursday 14th October and 5am tomorrow, Friday 15th October.

Customers in Dunboyne, Colliersland North, Brownstown, Waynestown, Kilgraigue, Harlockstown, Ballymacoll, Blackhall Big, Porterstown, Staffordstown, Kilcloon, Butlerstown, Blackhall Little, Castlefarm, Moygaddy, Killeany, Harristown, Cornelstown, Loughsallagh, Brownrath, Vesingstown, Baytownpark, Sarney, Cushinstown and surrounding areas may experience temporary disruption between 11pm tonight, Thursday and 2am tomorrow, Friday.

When works are completed it may take three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
