Crew Barbers opens new outlet in Enfield

Crew Barber Class for Men opened its fifth outlet this month.

According to Crew founder Avin Sohorye the Crew story started with a passion for styling hair and a dream to provide a service where clients "can come for an experience, not just a haircut".

"People need to walk out of our salons feeling renewed and transformed, but most importantly, feeling confident in the know-how on how to maintain their style themselves.

"In 2011, we opened our first Crew Barber in Haggard Street in Trim, which has since relocated to High Street. Here we also launched our flagship Grooming Room, the ultimate 'man-cave' where men can relax, watch some football, have a beer or kick off a stag night, all while being indulged with one of many luxury grooming treatments.

With a rising demand in their barbering services, the company started branching out to Athboy in 2012, followed by Old Johnstown Village in 2014, Beechmount Shopping Centre in 2016, a dedicated barbering school, The Crew Academy, in Navan in 2018, and finally the latest salon in Enfield opened on 19th August 2021.

"The Crew Academy is offering VTCT accredited level two and three barbering programs, many of our graduates progress to permanent employment in one of our salons, with our growing team currently being 23 staff members strong. The academy also offers more advanced grooming and beauty workshops for those who wish to upskill.

"We are deeply grateful for the support of our loyal customers, suppliers and dedicated staff. We couldn't have done this without them.

"As for our plan for the future, we would like to continue to offer franchising opportunities within Ireland, further expanding The Crew Barber brand, including The Crew Academy."
