Gardai seize €1.3m worth of cannabis in Meath growhouse

Gardai have seized €1.3 million worth of cannabis following a search operation in Co Meath last night. (Saturday 28th August 2021)

In a statement Gardai said: "As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí have seized €1.3 million worth of cannabis following a search operation in Co Meath last night, Saturday 28th August 2021.

"Shortly before 9pm last night, Gardaí conducted a search of premises in Ashbourne. A grow house was located on the property. Approximately 1,100 cannabis plants (pending analysis) were discovered during the operation.

"No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
