It’s a dogs life ... at Bellinter House!

Bellinter house welcoming back its four-legged guests

Bellinter House Hotel near Bective recently reopened its doors to guests, including the four legged kind.

With the majority of Irish people spending much more time at home during the pandemic, and pets having grown accustomed to the company, Bellinter House is now facilitating dog-friendly staycations with man's best friend.

Dogs are welcome to stay, along with their humans, in the Stable Rooms. The rooms harken back to their old function, with vaulted beamed ceilings, bright airy spaces and open on to a peaceful courtyard for guests and dogs alike to watch the world go by.

Set on stunning grounds, dogs can enjoy long walks in the fresh open air on the secluded and tranquil estate. Rooms are spacious and perfect for puppies to take a nap while guests enjoy a meal in the Eden Restaurant or the more casual Drawing Room.

General manager at Bellinter House, Denise O’Brien, said: "We cannot believe the demand we have experienced so far for our dog friendly rooms, we expected interest but guests have been coming in droves with their dogs to experience a tranquil break with their beloved pets.

“Our guests have said they have so much more peace of mind bringing their puppy with them as opposed to leaving them in a kennel or elsewhere.

“The rooms are perfect for dogs to stay in, a great size and nice and airy in the warmer summer months. We have all grown that bit closer with our pets during lockdown and if we all deserve a break, surely they do too."
