€500,000 EuroMillions winning ticket bought in Johnstown store

Plus ticket was bought in Mace on Thursday

A player in Navan scooped the top prize of €500,000 in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Thursday 13th May in Mace Johnstown at old Johnstown village, Navan.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers were draw were: 31, 39, 42, 46, 48.

The winner has made contact with the National Lottery and arrangements are now being made for them to claim their prize.

Store owner Rajan Chandi (Chandi & Kumar’s Mace Johnstown) was happy to hear that one of his customer’s was waking up to some good news.

“We’re a busy local shop in the middle of a commuting area so we have quite a lot of regular customers as well as people passing through," he said. "Hopefully the lucky winner will check their ticket soon and realise just how much it’s worth. It certainly is lovely news to receive on a Friday night!”

While over 60,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games last night, there was no winner of the €30,241,215 jackpot on offer in the Friday night draw. Tuesday night’s (18th May) jackpot will now roll towards an estimated €40 million.
