Trainer Jack Davison

Listed winner for Jack Davison

Dunboyne trainer Jack Davison landed his biggest winner when Mooneista stormed home in the Listed Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital Woodlands Stakes at Naas.

Partnered by Wayne Lordan, Mooneista was in third place a furlong from home, but got to the front and stayed on well to beat the Ado McGuinness-trained Harry's Bar by three-parts of a length.

“That’s the biggest win of my career and with a home-bred so it’s a big one," commented Davison who earlier this month sent out a 125/1 winner at Gowran Park at the beginning of April.

On that occasion Davison was on the mark at the Kilkenny track with Vera Verto in a maiden with jockey Ronan Whelan on board.

Today's winner is a consistent performer and in 10 outings has now won twice and placed six times.
