GAA ITEMS

GAA: The draws for the 2021 senior provincial football and hurling championships will be broadcast live by RTÉ on Monday 19th April and Tuesday 20th April.

The 2021 Munster football and hurling championship draws will take place on RTÉ Radio 1’s Morning Ireland show on Monday at 7.30am and 8.30am respectively.

The 2021 Connacht Football Championship draw will be televised on the 6.01 News on RTÉ 1.

The 2021 Leinster SFC and Leinster SHC draws take place on Morning Ireland on Tuesday at 7.30am and 8.30am respectively.

The 2021 Ulster SFC draw will take place later that evening on the 6.01 News.

CLUB NOTICES

Ballinabrackey: Monday 31st May - extended closing date for 2021 membership; best wishes to Katie Thompson, Ciara Dowling, Nicky Judge, Grace Dunning and baby James McCormack who are all celebrating their birthdays at this time.

The club is doing a delivery service for anyone who is in need of it during this lockdown. Working alongside Eurospar in Kinnegad they are taking orders for all grocery needs.

The walking track is open as normal for members, use hand sanitising station around the pitch and walk in one direction around the track.

Please adhere to social distancing when using the track. It is important to get out and get some fresh air during these tough times.

The club is doing work on the fence and around the walking track so please be cautious when walking on the track at all times during this work.

The football pitch is still closed so please do not use the pitch. The walking track will remain open.

Boardsmill: social membership (€20) provides for use of the walking track and is open all year round.

Dunsany: A very successful Masters Golf Prediction Fundraiser came to a thrilling finish on Sunday night with just one shot separating the ultimate winner, Sean Vaughan (€400) from the runner-up, Bernard McMahon (€100); sellers’ prize will be announced later. Thank you to everyone for the incredible support.

Gaeil Colmcille: The club has launched a 100 club draw from April to December, subscription is €40 per month with a monthly prize of €1,000 drawn on the last Sunday of every month starting on Sunday 25th April.

The final draw in December will feature a main prize for €5,000 first prize of €1,000 and €500 second prize.
