Sports club notices and lotto results to 9th February

There are some big amounts to be won next week in some of the club lotto jackpots following the most recent draws last night and tonight.

The Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels jackpot now stands at €13,000 after last night's draw (no winner), Moynalvey is at €10,000 while Navan O'Mahonys now stands at €13,850 after tonight's draw.

Welcome also to two new clubs who have submitted deatils for this week's print edition of the Meath Chronicle - Clann na nGael in Athboy (jackpot now €2,800 for tomorrow night's draw) and Kilmainham GAA club (€4,400 jackpot for next Monday night).

COUNTY NOTES

GAA: provincial championships - the draws for the provincial football and hurling championships have been postponed until the end of February at the earliest.

Inter-county training - the GAA Covid-19 advisory group will meet on Monday 15th February to assess the possibility for inter-county football and hurling teams returning to training.

CLUB NOTES

Ballinabrackey: Wednesday 31st March - closing date for 2021 membership; best wishes are sent to Deirdre Reilly, Ray Kearney and Grace Quinn who are all celebrating their birthdays at this time. The walking track is open for members to use during the winter months, use hand sanitising stations around the pitch and walk in one direction only. Carnaross: walking track is open for all members to exercise safely within their 5km radius.The lights will automatically turn on at 5pm and turn off at 9pm. Please ensure you follow the signs, to stick to the one-way system and comply with the social distance requirements at all times and be safe.

Dunboyne: Wednesday 17th March - bonanza draw: first prize Nissan Juke; two runner-up prizes of €1,000 each, draw limited to 500 tickets, subscription €100.

Kilmessan: walking club (use of the walking track) - membership for 2021 is €30 per person.
