Keane leads Foley by seven after Navan today

The duel between Colin Keane and Shane Foley for the 2020 flat title continued at Navan today with the duo landing five winners between them.

A double for Keane was sufficient to maintain a lead of seven over Foley who had a treble with Meath trainer John McConnell providing the third winner.

Foley's other winners were Sounds Of Spring (Ken Condon) and Ilmig (Jessica Harrington) and the KIlkenny man made it three on McConnell’s Make Good to leave Keane with a 95-88 margin at the close of business.

Keane was on the mark with a winner for Dunshaughlin-based Edward Lynam and KIlmessan trainer Matthew Smith.

The duel continues tomorrow evening at Dundalk.
