Eight clubs represented on the team of the week

The Friday night lights in magnificent Carnaross were the focus of the Meath Chronicle's attentions last weekend as sports editor Conall Collier sampled the electric atmosphere of the local derby between the hosts and their near neighbours Moynalty.
With a place in the last four the reward for the winners (although a draw would have done Carnaross), there was no holds barred in a thoroughly entertaining contest which went in Carnaross's favour on a 1-10 to 0-6 scoreline.

There was an added flavour to the contest with some of the Brogan brothers in action for Moynalty against their former club.
Six players from the enthralling contest impressed sufficiently to earn a place on this week's team of the week, with four players from the victorious Carnaross side making the top 15.

To get a player included on the team of the week we invite PROs to email their match reports and suggest their nominations for inclusion to sports@meathchronicle.ie.
