Another good run from McGrath

Bohermeen AC's Kevin McGrath was in action at the AAI Indoor games in Abbotstown at the weekend.

McGrath contested the grade A men’s 800m and his athletic renaissance continued as he produced his fastest indoor 800m and his best time both indoors and outdoors since 2016.

Kieran Kelly took them through the opening two laps as pacemaker, then it was down to the 'big three' of Roland Surlis of Annalee, Brian Fay of Raheny and McGrath to settle the podium positions.

That was the order on the finish line as each of the top three showed wit and cuteness in the home straight.
