A helping hand ... The Great Giveback on Virgin Media

A brand new series called ‘The Great Giveback’ will start on Virgin Media One tomorrow night, Tuesday 14th January at 10pm.
The three-part series sees two families from two very different worlds get to know one another - with one family helping the other at a time of need.
Filmed over six months, the programme explores families, parenting, relationships, ambitions and how financial circumstances can influence your life's path - for good and bad. And while one family is offering a hand-up, what can the other bring?
In episode One, renowned hairdresser Dylan Bradshaw and his wife and business partner Charlotte meet brothers Conor and Colin Grassick from Drumcondra.
The two young men recently lost their mother to cancer and with Colin having high special needs - including Prader-Willi Syndrome and severe autism – Conor is struggling to cope with the responsibility of caring for his younger brother, both financially and emotionally.
The Bradshaws are immediately taken in by the Grassick brothers and promise to help them as best they can.
Dylan and Charlotte delve into their contacts book to help the brothers turn their house into a home and hopefully turn their lives around for the better.
But with Colin’s health and behavior deteriorating and a delay in HSE funding for an adequate care home, is the challenge bigger than the Bradshaws anticipated? Tune into Virgin Media One, Tuesday 14th January at 10pm to find out.
