Navan man pioneering the national 'Conscious' event of the year

The deeper needs of people in Ireland has shifted dramatically in recent years. The growing trends are towards such things as mindfulness meditation, which is now the new buzz word in the corporate sector, yoga classes has mushroomed as a healthy spiritual lifestyle choice around cities and towns. Indeed more and more people are out in nature on a Sunday and going for rambles on sacred sites such as Tara and Loughcrew and celebrating the old festive days like Brigid’s Day, Samhain and Bealtaine.
An event that has emerged from these changing trends is Conscious Concert, which is now going into its sixth year
Now established  as one of the main open minded conscious events in the country, the concert meets a growing trend of people seeking deeper meaning and connection.  Each year the concert weaves an international line-up of  wisdom speakers, mystics  and world sacred music.
The essence of the event is to come together and to engage in activities that unify and dissolve any perceived division. We often here the saying “we are all one” yet this is often not demonstrated in how our society functions.
This lack of connection to all can lead us to feeling isolated and with a sense of meaninglessness.
The idea of the Conscious Concert is to celebrate this over arching perspective that no matter what we believe and or where we come we all hold an equal value which has nothing to do what we materially possess.
There are two main ingredients to Conscious Concert. One being that it is alcohol-free. This does not mean event goers are or need to be teetotallers but the decision to ask people not to drink or take drugs creates a space where conscious connection and expression is more readily accessible. The second is that it is a space for seekers of all walks of life, that are not assigned to any agenda or spiritual belief. These soul nourishing, playful spaces are specifically created to be an environment where one can explore and experience wellness in its vast diversity.
On this years Conscious Concert Line-up is:
Nagual Uchu, a South American shaman from Mexico (his tradition of Nagual Shamanism has been made famous by the best-selling book of Carlos Castaneda in the 1970s and 80s.
Sacred World Music from Sudha. Sudha has headlined events all over the world. Her music is very popular and receives millions of views on YouTube.

Founder of the Concert, Enda Donnellan says: “The essence of the concert is to create a joyful  space of deeper meaning and connection.  We all have an innate longing for deeper meaning in life, a meaning  that empowers  and uplifts us.”
Enda who is from Navan has worked as an Osteopath since 2001.  He became the first male Interfaith Minister in Ireland in 2012. After working  in osteopathic healing for 10 years he felt a yearning to be of service to the wider community and country. Being ordained as an Interfaith Minister gave him a broader understanding of how to be of service. He produced a sacred music stage in the Electric Picnic  - Sacred Union Stage -  before creating his own independent productions.
