Flower Hill Quick Pick ticket wins €119,270

The National Lottery has appealed to Lotto players in Navan to check their tickets after one lucky player scooped last night's Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €119,270. The player came agonisingly close to hitting the incredible €8.9 million jackpot on offer which now rolls to a truly life-changing €9.5 million on Saturday night.

The winning Quick Pick ticket worth €119,270 was sold on Friday 2nd August at the Maxol Service Station in Flower Hill, Navan. The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus draw were: 02, 03, 07, 16, 29, 37 and the bonus was 41.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “While there was no winner of the €8.9 million jackpot, one lucky ticketholder in Co. Meath is surely celebrating today after matching five numbers and the bonus to pick up a tidy €119,270 prize. We are encouraging all of our Lotto players who may have bought their ticket in Navan to check their tickets carefully. If you are the lucky ticketholder please be sure to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe and contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for you to come to the Winner’s Room and collect your prize”.

The current Lotto jackpot has been rolling since Wednesday 12th June and a potential winner of Saturday’s €9.5 million (est) jackpot will become the 2nd biggest Lotto winner of the year after a Dublin syndicate scooped an incredible €10.2 million jackpot last February.

Last night’s Lotto draw produced over 91,000 prize winners.
