New Tourism Ireland video features Trim Castle

Haunted forests, epic battle cries and galaxies far far away, Tourism Ireland encourages people everywhere to come and explore the filming locations that have made Ireland a star.

Tourism Ireland has created a new online film showcasing some of the wonderful locations around Ireland where iconic films and TV shows have been shot. It includes Trim Castle, which starred in Braveheart.

Ireland has been capturing the attention of filmmakers for decades now. With its diverse landscape, dramatic coastline and heritage sites, Ireland is simply a natural in front of the camera! From Star Wars, Game of Thrones and Braveheart, to Saving Private Ryan and Brooklyn, Tourism Ireland’s latest video shows prospective visitors around the world where they can experience the real-life places that they’ve only seen on screen!
