From humble beginnings as a 15-year-old graffiti artist, Maser has emerged as a major talent in Ireland's creative scene.

Three Things that make Maser tick!

Jameson has announced acclaimed Irish artist, Maser, as the latest talent to join its global 'Three Things' campaign at an event in D-Light Studios in Dublin.

Jameson is a brand built on threes: three ingredients, triple distilled for that signature taste. So Three Things sees Jameson seek out fearless talent from around the world to learn about the inspirations, passions and influences that make them tick.

Maser sat down with DJ, Keith Walsh, during a bespoke live event to reveal his Three Things – Home, The Great Outdoors and a DIY attitude. As well as hearing from the man himself, guests enjoyed multi-sensory, immersive installations inspired by Maser’s Three Things and a retrospective of his iconic pieces. DJ Aidan Kelly played specially-curated music, while guests were treated to delicious food and Jameson cocktails. Those in attendance included Tropical Popical entrepreneur, Andrea Horan, singer Soule and musician Aimee Mallon.

Maser is another great product of Dublin: from humble beginnings as a 15-year-old graffiti artist, Maser has emerged as a major talent in Ireland’s creative scene. With one foot in street art and one in the contemporary art world, he's retained that rebellious spirit that made his name, and made him a firm fan favourite.

His distinctive, typographic work can be found all over his home town, famously in his 2010 collaboration with Damien Dempsey, ‘They Are Us’, and his Repeal the 8th mural. But his style has developed and changed with him. His move towards graphic representation and geometric abstraction, as well as collaborations with the likes of U2, has helped establish him in the contemporary art world.

Belinda Kelly of Jameson said: “Three Things lets us get up close and personal with the people we admire, to really understand what makes them who they are. And to be able to celebrate a talent like Maser in our hometown is a dream. His powerful work and unpretentious nature have endeared him to his fans, and makes him a perfect fit for Jameson.”

Talking about being part of Jameson Three Things, Maser commented: “It was great to get a chance to talk about three things that mean so much to me and share them with my fellow Dubs, thanks to Jameson.”
