Andy McEntee is looking for a green and gold theme at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday

Will you be backing Meath on Sunday?

Meath will tackle Kildare in the biggest game of the year so far at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday, 2pm and Andy McEntee is urging fans to bring the green and gold flags.

The advice from Meath Co Board is for supporters to get to the ground in good time as a big crowd is expected.

Tickets are available for €15 if purchased before Saturday and  €20 on the day at the ground.

Kildare will be anxious to get a victory to stay in touch for promotion as a defeat would leave them well off the pace with games to come against Tipperary and a final round away day in Ballybofey against Donegal.

Meath will be bidding for a fourth win and a third in-a-row after excellent performances against Armagh and Cork last Saturday night.

Meath manager Andy McEntee is calling for all supporters to get to Navan for the Kildare game on Sunday.

“We have asked for consistency this year. It is not the longest league in the world, it's only seven games so we have asked ourselves can we put similar performances together for seven games," he stated after the win in Cork.

“That's not beyond the bounds of possibility, we have done four so far, can we do five next Sunday, that's the next question," he added.
