Wrap up warm as wintry weather set too continue

Meath is bracing itself for wintry weather conditions as Met Eireann has issued a status yellow snow and ice weather warning for the county for Tuesday January 29.
The warning will last from Tuesday 29 January 2019 from 6am to Saturday 2 February 2019 at 6pm.
There will be wintery showers with accumulations of snow, especially on higher ground. Frost will also be widespread with with icy stretches on untreated surfaces.
Wednesday will continue very cold with sunny spells and scattered wintry showers. Some will be sleet or snow, especially in on higher ground. On Wednesday night, severe frost and icy patches will develop.
While there hasn't been any further  weather warnings issued for Thursday yet, it looks set to see showers rain, sleet and snow will gradually spread from the southwest. It will be very cold with temperatures of just 2 to 6 degrees. Frost and ice will develop on Thursday night along with further wintry showers. 
Friday will continue very cold with sunshine and further wintry showers. Highest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees.
