Snooker stars join up for special exhibition at the Ardboyne

Snooker stars Ken Doherty and Dennis Taylor will be joined by the legendary John Virgo for a special exhibtion at the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan on Sunday 27th January.

Doherty, who won the 1997 World Championship, added another title to his collection in the past year when he won the World senior title. In so doing he became the only player in the world to have claimed the World amatuer, professional and now senior titles.

Joining Doherty on the night at the Ardboyne will be the very popular former Taylor who lifted the World  title way back in 1985 with that famous 'black back' decider against Steve Davis. It was a final that was watched by over 18 million TV viewers.

Former UK champion and current BBC snooker pundit Virgo will join the legends showcasing some of his hilariously funny trickshot and routines along with running commentary throughout a night that promises plenty of jokes, stories and even some snooker!

Stephen Hickey, the promoter behind the event, would like to thank the Ardboyne Hotel for their help in organising this exhibition. "Without their assistance, it would not have been possible to bring these snooker stars to Navan town," he said.

Tickets for the event are available from hotel reception or online via ticketstop.ie. Tickets are just €25 but are said to be selling fast so anyone wishing to attend is advised to book early to avoid missing out. Please note that VIP TICKETS for this event have sold out.
