Ratoath earn draw with Kildalkey in camogie final

Ratoath salvaged a replay from today's exciting Intermediate Camogie final against KIldalkey at Trim where the sides finished level at 1-6 each with Sinead Beagan claiming the crucial point.

The teams were also level at half-time (1-2 each), but it was Kildalkey who were hanging on as the clock ran into six minutes of added time.

Ratoath had a glorious chance to win in added time when a goal opportunity was created, but they just couldn't finish and  overall a draw was probably the fairest result.

Beagan finished with four points to her credit while Niamh McLoughlin found the net and Lauren McCann and Emma McGill also sent over.

KIldalkey had a goal from Leah Kelly with a brace of points each by Jessica Potterton and Beverley Lynch and one each by Aine Keogh and Blathnaid Keogh.

The replay is provisionally fixed for Saturday week - to be confirmed .
