Football championship fixture focus

The winner of next Monday night's SFC preliminary quarter-final between Wolfe Tones and Gaeil Colmcille will have six days to get ready for the next game.

Dunboyne await the winner of that tie and the game is scheduled for Sunday 9th September in Dunshaughlin.

The winner of the JFC preliminary quarter-final between Dunsany and Wolfe Tones on Tuesday night next will have one day less than that to prepare for the next test against Carnaross at Athboy on Sunday 9th September also.
