Young man killed in road collision in Navan

Gardaí at Navan are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Gibbstown, Navan at approximately 4am this morning, Saturday, 7th July 2018.

A 21-year-old male front seat passenger was fatally injured when the car he was travelling in crashed at the above location. The 23-year-old male driver was injured and has been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.  

The stretch of road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
