Darragh Campion was one of the Meath players who had an impressive outing and he fired over three points while Jason Scully, Frank O'Reilly, James Conlon all bagged two apiece with Devine getting one to add to his goal. Conor Moriarty also hit three points.

Diarmuid Whelan shot over seven points for the visitors, including five frees, but they were unable to get the goal they badly need.
