Unpaid contractors to meet Minister McEntee

Contractors who have worked on the new Eureka School in Kells and who have not been paid following the collapse of the giant Carrillion group are being urged to attend a meeting with Minister Helen McEntee on Tuesday night.
Niall Reynolds of Rapid Response Security Services in Navan says he has contacted a number of contractors who have not been paid but believes there are many others out there and wants them to know the meeting is taking place.
They will be meeting at Minister McEntee's office in Kells on Tuesday evening at 8.30pm.
"There are a lot contractors and sub contractors who carried out work on the Eureka School who haven't been paid.
"I had to let people go and pay their wages and now the revenue are looking for VAT on the money I haven't been paid," Mr Reynolds says.
"We know there are a lot of contractors out there who haven't been paid and would like them to get in contact with us and to attend the meeting on Tuesday," he says.
