Robbie Brennan

New managers appointed

Former Dunboyne player and manager Robbie Brennan will be part of the Kilmacud Crokes management team that will play in the Dublin SFC in 2018 along with former Wicklow boss Johnny Magee after Monaghan's Gabriel Bannigan stepped down following three years in charge.
Brennan who was a stalwart with Dunboyne both as a player and a coach previously managed St Sylvester's and he joins a strong management team at Kilmacud that includes Paul Griffin, Robbie Leahy and Shane Smith.
Bannigan will replace Sean Barry, who has gone to St Mary's Ardee, as the new Donaghmore/Ashbourne manager and he will be assisted by Alan Daly from Dunboyne.
Former Donaghmore/Ashbourne boss Sean Kelly, who led the club to the SFC final in 2016, will return to management for 2018 when he takes over at Dunboyne.


Damien Sheridan will remain as Seneschalstown manager for 2018 after taking over from David Hosie half-way through 2017 and he will be joined on the Yellow Furze sideline by Armagh's Oisin McConville.
