John Davis nominated for manager of the year

Meath manager John Davis is one of three nominees for the manager of the year award at the 14th annual Camogie All-Stars 

The eagerly-awaited banquet, sponsored by Liberty Insurance, will take place in CityWest Hotel on Saturday 4th November with tickets available at €75.

This is the second time that David has been nominated as he was also in the running in 2012 after Meath won the Premier Junior title.

However, he must surely be in the frame to get the nod ahead of Cork's Paudie Murray and his fellow Westmeath man Johnny Greville who guided his native county to this year's Premier Junior title.

The inaugural Camogie All-Stars Tour was announced today as the shortlist for 2017 Senior All-Stars Awards was released

The first Liberty Insurance Camogie All-Stars Tour will take this year with Madrid being announced as the destination for the inaugural trip.

The Tour which will take place from 29th November - 2nd December and will see two teams comprising of the winning Senior All-Stars from both the 2016 and the upcoming 2017 Awards ceremony face each other in an exhibition match in the Spanish capital.

The Tour is an opportunity to reward these players for their dedication, skill and passion for the game for which they are all true role models, and to continue to spread the game to new audiences in Europe.
