Kilmessan bidding for Leinster title

Kilmessan will be in action this Sunday against Johnstownbridge in the Leinster Junior Camogie final which is a repeat of last year's final where the Kildare girls emerged victorious.

Kilmessan will be hoping to avenge that defeat in Edenderry at 2.30pm after they earned that final ticket with a 2-13 to 1-9 win over Raharney last Sunday at Dunsany.

Despite trailing by two points at half time (0-6 to 1-5) Kilmessan didn't panic and came out in force in the second-half, upping the tempo to out-score Raharney by 2-7 to 0-4.

The Kilmessan goals were from Kelly Gorman and Katie Ni Choileain.

Johnstownbridge defeated Knockanna by 2-17 to 1-1 in the other semi-final after an earlier win by 8-30 to 1-1 against St Kevin's from Louth.
