Treasa in Rose heat tonight

The first of two qualifying selection nights taking place tonight as The Rose of Tralee International Festival continues.

RTE presenter Dáithí Ó Sé will meet 32 of the 65 Roses on stage in front of a packed Festival Dome, including Meath representative, Treasa Sheridan from Kilmessan.

Each Rose will find out on Sunday 21st August if she has been chosen to appear on the televised selections next week.

Treasa Sheridan says she is looking forward to seeing her family in the audience tonight, and is more excited than anything about getting on stage and representing her county, which she hopes she’ll do proud.

She’s thrilled to be the Meath Rose and having the time of her life, she added.
