Death of Trim's Tom Mekitarian
The death has occurred of Tom Mekitarian, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo and formerly of Trim and well known for taking part in local stage productions over the years.
He died peacefully at Mayo General Hospital, Castlebar, on Saturday, surrounded by his loving family. Son of Tom and the late Ita and father of Karen, Sandra and Tom, he is survived by his family, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and friends.
His remains are reposing at Heffernan's Funeral Home, High Street, Trim on Wednesday afternoon from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to Mt Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross arriving for funeral ceremony at 2pm​. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to NCBI.
