Three changes for Meath
Meath manager Mick O’Dowd has made three chances to the team that lost to Fermanagh for Sunday’s NFL Div 2 clash with Cavan at Pairc Tailteann.
Blackhall Gaels’ Donnacha Tobin will make his first appearance of the season when he starts at midfield in place of Donaghmore/Ashbourne’s Andy Tormey who drops to the bench following his first-half dismissal against the Erne men.
James McEntee is unavailable because of his likely involvement with the Meath u-21s for their Leinster u-21 FC quarter-final clash with Dublin next Wednesday night in Parnell Park, so his place in the starting 15 will be taken by Eamon Wallace who will make his first start of the year.
Navan O’Mahonys’ Darragh Smyth comes in for Cathal Finn at half-back in the third change made my O’Dowd.
Supporters are reminded that they can buy tickets for Sunday’s game in advance from any Supervalu shop where they can make a €5 saving on the admission fee.
The Meath team to face Cavan will be - Paddy O’Rourke (Skryne); Donal Keogan (Rathkenny), Conor McGill (Ratoath), Mickey Burke (Longwood); Brian Power (Ratoath), Padraic Harnan (Moynalvey), Darragh Smyth (Navan O’Mahonys); Harry Rooney (Skryne), Donnacha Tobin (Blackhall Gaels); Sean Tobin (Simonstown), Cillian O’Sullivan (Moynalvey), Graham Reailly (St Colmcille’s); Eamon Wallace (Ratoath), Michael Newman (Kilmainham), Donal Lenihan (Dunboyne).
