Battle of Ashbourne exhibition and talk

Ashbourne Historical Society will present a talk on the Battle of Ashbourne in the Toradh Gallery, Ashbourne Library, at 7pm this evening.
The talk has been arranged to accompany the ‘The Battle of Ashbourne Easter 1916’ exhibition which opened in the Toradh Gallery on earlier this month and runs until 8th March.
The exhibition is presented by Ashbourne Historical Society in conjunction with Battle of Ashbourne Centenary Commemoration Re-enactment group and hosted by Meath County Council Arts Office. It features a display of photographs, exhibits and information documenting the role Ashbourne played in the 1916 Easter Rising. The library and gallery are open late on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This evening’s talk takes place upstairs in the library.
