Meath hurlers will be in action this weekend but no team details have been made available as they prepare to tackle Mayo on Sunday in the NHL Div 2B at Trim.

Meath u-21 footballers will also face Leitrim in the final of the Hastings Shield.

The Hastings Sheild final will be played at Pearse park, Longford with a throw-in at 2pm.

Meath hurling manager Martin Ennis will be looking for another big performance from his players when they tackle Mayo at Trim on Sunday at 2pm. Rory McGann will referee.

Meath impressed last Sunday in Arklow against Wicklow and produced a solid performance that saw them win impressively by 0-22 to 0-13 against a team that was in 2A last year.
