Ball for injured rugby players trust next month

Having recently retired from rugby, Gordon D’Arcy lined out to show support to a cause close to his heart, the IRFU Charitable Trust, which lends support to seriously injured rugby players. The charity’s annual ball will take place on Friday March 11th in the Ballsbridge Hotel with tickets available from the IRFU Charitable Trust. Gordon will be Guest of Honour on the night, and will be presented with a special award from the charity, honouring his commitment to the game.

The evening promises to be a glamourous affair, with a glittering guestlist that already includes rugby luminaires such as Mick Galwey, Peter Clohessy, and Marty Moore.

Raffle and auction prizes include coaching sessions with rugby stars Ian Madigan, Johnny Sexton and Jamie Heaslip.

MC on the night will be top comedian Risteard Cooper with entertainment provided by live band Jukebox Kings.

All rugby fans are urged to support the charity by reserving a table or single ticket. Prices are a table of ten for €1500 or a single ticket for €150. This includes drinks reception, entertainment, raffle and auction.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting Linda on Ph: 01 647 3866 or Email: linda.black@irfu.ie
