Candidates confirmed for Meath East and Meath West

The full line-up of candidates for the Meath East and Meath West constituencies in the forthcoming General Election has been confirmed following the passing of the closing date for nominations at 12 noon yesterday.
A total of nine candidates are standing in Meath West including sitting TDs Damien English (FG), Peadar Tóibín (SF) and Ray Butler (FG).

In Meath East there is a bigger field with 12 candidates vying for the three seats that are up for grabs, including sitting TDs Dominic Hannigan (Lab), Regina Doherty (FG) and Helen McEntee (FG).
