Wexford hurlers for Navan on Sunday

Meath manager Martin Ennis is urging supporters to get to Páirc Táilteann on Sunday for the Walsh Cup second round game against Wexford, throw in at 12.15.


'Its great to be playing a team of the quality of Wexford in front of our home supporters in Pairc Tailteann,' commented Ennis who was eager for Meath to move up to the more competitive Walsh Cup in preparation for the start of the NHL Div 2B campaign away to Wicklow on St Valentine's Day.


Meath opened their campiagn last week against Carlow and will conclude their fixtures in the Walsh Cup at home ot IT Carlow on Sunday week.

The hurling will form part of a double-header with Meath footballers set to face Laois in the final group game of the O'Byrne Cup at 2pm.
