Two for summerhill trainer at galway

Agher, Summerhill-based trainer Sheila Lavery is enjoying a good Galway Festival with a winner on Monday and Tuesday. She saddled her second winner of this year's Galway Festival when Ibergman took the spoils in the seven furlong maiden on Tuesday.

On Monday, she had her first runner at the Festival and first winner when Romiac powered clear in the closing stages of the Claytonhotelgalway.ie Handicap at Galway.

'A lot of my horses have been getting bad draws and I'd like to thank Eddie Lynam for his advice. He said don't try to beat your draw and just ride your race,' she commented.

Thanks to Nigel Costello for alerting us about Sheila's success.
