Kiltale clock up big score to defeat boardsmill

It gets better and better for Kiltale in the SHC as they made it three wins from three outings when they defeated Boardsmill by 4-21 to 3-8 at Trim earlier today.

Trevor Cummins' side led from start to finish building on a goal from Willie Harnan after just 15 seconds to make it a hat-trick of championship wins.

The reigning champions looked comfortable all the way despite having John Donoghue red-carded on 44 minutes.

Boardsmill's Evan Dixon was also sent off just before the end to complete a forgettable encounter for his team.

Kiltale led 2-11 to 14 at the interval with James Kelly getting their second goal from a penalty.

Ross Ryan went on to find the net twice in the second-half to help wrap up the victory.

James Kelly was prominent on the scoring front for Kiltale with 1-10 while Ross Ryan finished with 2-2.

Sean Dixon, Fergal Flattery and Cathal Flattery netted for Boardsmill but they were facing a big uphill task from the start.
