Geraghty back in action

Barry Geraghty's return to action after a lay-off through injury since last March saw him finish sixth and second at Limerick today on his first mounts for owner JP McManus.

Geraghty had another setback last week when he was hospitalised with a kidney stone, but he recovered from that quickly.

The Meath man was on board the Aidan O'Brien-trained Waver in the second race on the card, but was never a threat

Geraghty's other ride was on Hash Brown in a beginners' chase and he managed second place.

'It's brilliant (to be back), great (to get the job) and that was a nice introduction,' he commented after his ride on Waver.

Ashbourne jockey Andrew Lynch had a double at the Munster track.
