Ladies wanted for senior and u21 teams

New Meath Ladies football manager Diane O’Hora has wasted no time in starting her preparations for 2015 with the announcement that she intends to hold trial on Sunday 16th November.
A former All-Ireland winning captain with Mayo, O’Hora was appointed to succeed Lar Wall and Martin Connolly last week and at a meeting with the Ladies Co Board executive on Tuesday night she set out her plans for the coming year.
Syddan GAA will host the trials for the Ladies senior and u-21 teams from 10.0. All players are asked to be in attendance about 10 minutes before the start time. Clubs are invited to send as many players as they wish who are capable of playing senior or u-21 football for their county.
Players ideally will be above the minor age group as they will be facilitated on the minor panel, but this does not exclude them from the senior panel.
Minor manager Eamonn Murray also intends to hold trials for the county minor team when all championship finals have concluded, hopefully before the end of the month. Clubs are urged to send a list of minor players suitable to play county football, along with the player’s position and a parent’s contact details, to fergallynch007@hotmail.com.
