Trip to laois for kiltale

Kiltale hurlers will face a trip to Laois following yesterday's win with a tie against Senior B champions Ballinakill on 9th November the next test for Meath champions.

Ballinakill defeated Bray Emmets by three points (0-18 to 0-15) yesterday to book their place in the last four. 

Kiltale gave Meath hurling a much-needed boost with this 3-15 to 1-10 Leinster Club IHC quarter-final victory over Wexford opposition Shamrocks at Trim on Sunday afternoon.

Shamrocks finished the game with 14 men after they had a player dismissed close to the interval, but Kiltale were ahead by 1-6 to 1-5 at half-time.

With the wind at their backs and a numerical advantage Kiltale capitalised in the second-half.

“I  don’t know when the next game is because I didn’t look any further than this one,” said Kiltale manager Brian Gilsenan.
