Lynam considers Australia and Hong Kong

Dunshaughlin trainer Eddie Lynam could send his Royal Ascot winner Slade Power to Australia for the 2014 Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival next November.

Slade Power won the Diamond Jubilee Stakes last week and will run in the July Cup at Newmarket next month where Sole Power, which claimed back-to-back renewals of the King's Stand Stakes last week, will also bid for victory.

Slade Power may go Down Under for the Group One VRC Sprint Classic over six furlongs on Saturday 8th November.

The five-year-old could face Australian sprinter Lankan Rupee.

Lynam told Sky Sports Radio in Australia: 'I hear you have got a very good sprinter (Lankan Rupee) over there, but we'll give it a go.

'We've been doing a bit of research into him and he might not be Black Caviar but he's very, very good and he's going to be a hard nut to crack.

'We're not afraid to lose, so we're going to give it a go.'

Sole Power may go for the Hong Kong International Sprint at Sha Tin in December.
