'Lads of Comedy' for Central

Navan Laughs returns to The Central on Thursday June 26th for a midsummer gig that includes another top-notch line-up of Irish comedy.
The night will feature 'The Lads of Comedy’ (which does contain a female comedian!) who are all Republic of Telly stars currently on a sold-out nationwide tour.
The lads include RTE’s current brightest star, Kevin McGahern, who has been earning rave reviews as the new host of Republic of Telly. Kevin starred as Sim Card in 'Hardy Bucks’ before featuring in a number of hit YouTube sketches such as 'The Man Who Slipped on the Ice’. He was the Audience Choice Winner in last year’s RTÉ New Comedy Awards and is currently appearing on every second advertisement on the telly.
Joining Kevin on the night will be a host of his fellow Republic of Telly sketch co-stars. They include other RTE New Comedy Award finalists Andrea Farrell, Ed Sammon, Trevor Browne and Ronan Grace. Collectively, these acts have amassed numerous comedy awards, festival credits and the Irish Independent have said they are “Hilarious… these guys are definitely ones to watch.”
Presiding over MC duties will be resident host Alan Gernon. Tickets are available from The Central or online at www.ticketstop.ie for only €10 each. Enjoy a Meal Deal (two Courses and a Gig Ticket) for €25. For Meal Deal bookings, phone (046) 902 7999. Doors to the gig open at 8.30pm and it starts at 9pm.
