Christmas CD from Tenors

Those attending the Celtic Tenor’s concert in Slane  will experience some Christmas favourites from the trio’s first festive CD, simply titled 'Christmas’. The Celtic Tenors have combined classical and traditional Christmas songs with their world famous harmonious voices to create a truly memorable Christmas album.
Matthew Gilsenan, James Nelson and Daryl Simpson, working again with producer Martin Quinn from JAM Studios, recorded this album in the County Meath countryside. Alongside the talented forces of the FILMHarmonic Orchestra in Prague, the Celtic Tenors have produced an elegant and majestic Christmas album.
James says: “This collection of timeless Christmas classics from our childhood is dedicated to the Celtic Tenor’s loyal supporters and fans who have requested a Christmas CD from the outset. Thank you all for your unending support.”
Matthew Gilsenan from Moynalty says: “These are the songs, that over the years, have filled our homes at Christmas time here in Ireland. We hope that everyone who listens to it catches a little bit of the Christmas spirit.”
Tracks include O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, In The Bleak Mid Winter, The First Noël, Gaudete, Away in a Manger, We Three Kings, Mille Cherubini, Ave Maria, Wexford Carol and Joy to the World.
From their No 1 chart positions in Ireland & Germany, (and No 2 in the UK) to their three platinum selling albums, their international reputation continues to grow. Across the Atlantic, they have achieved Top Ten spots in both US Billboard and Canadian Charts. Having given private performances to world leaders from Bill Clinton to Kofi Annan and many more in between, the Celtic are a real worldwide phenomenon. They’ve also shown a remarkable ability to capture the hearts if sports fans in international stadia from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Dublin and Glasgow at opening ceremonies and interval shows.
