'Winterific' family day in Navan

On Saturday 14 December, Solstice Arts Centre will host a spectacular ‘Winterific’ day. Get into the festive spirit and enjoy Christmas family fun with face painting, storytelling, children’s workshops and a variety of Christmas Food and Craft stalls. Admission is free!  

 

Shopping Stalls will be open throughout the day from 11am-4pm, with culinary delights and hand-crafted Christmas gifts, including jams, pies, wreaths, centrepieces, children’s clothing, toys, jewellery and much more. Children’s activities run from 11am-2pm, while those who prefer a more tranquil shopping environment can peruse the stalls from 2pm-4pm! Traders Coffee House will be open throughout serving Christmas treats, breakfast and lunch.

 

Kicking off at 11am, there will be FREE face-painting, colouring competitions and storytelling for families to take part in. Children can decorate yummy treats to bring home with Trader’s ‘Gingerbread Man Workshops’, or parents can drop their 5-11 olds off at the ‘Little Elves Workshops’ while they take a look around the stalls – here children will join other busy little elves to create magical Christmas cards, decorations & lanterns! The ‘Gingerbread Man Workshop’ and the‘Little Elves Workshop’ carry a nominal fee of €3 each and can be booked with Box Office on the day – come early as they are likely to book up fast! At 2pm, families can settle down together to enjoy a screening of ‘Elf’ (PG). This Christmas comedy stars Will Ferrell as Buddy, a human raised by elves in the North Pole! Tickets for the film are €7.50 / €5, or €20 for a family of 4 and can be booked at Box Office.
