Murtagh bidding for Arc success

Bohermeen man Johnny Murtagh, who is now combining training with his role as a top flat jockey, will be hoping to add another Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe to his tally in Paris on Sunday. 

Murtagh will partner Novellist in the big race for German trainer Andreas Wohler 

 The four-year-old features among 21 horses to stand their ground for the Group One at the first forfeit stage.

Novellist is unbeaten this season which includes a win for the Bohermeen jockey in the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot.

'Johnny did everything right at Ascot, I spoke to him yesterday and he's really looking forward to it,' commented the trainer in an ATR interview.
