O'Mahonys finish strongly for victory

Navan O'Mahonys chalked up their second win in the SHC on Saturday evening with a merited 2-16 to 2-12 victory over Rathmolyon at Kildalkey.

Victory was hard-earned for O'Mahonys and they trailed at the interval by two points (0-8 to 1-7).

O'Mahonys upped the tempo in the second-half, but it wasn't until substitute Vinny Moore rifled to the Rathmoylon net with 12 minutes remaining that they hit the front (1-13 to 1-10).

Moore added a second goal on the stroke of full-time, but Rathmolyon battled back in added time with Mike Cole finding the net.
