Kentstown's Sarah Crosby received the MVP award last night from referee Peter Burns.

Ladies soccer league update

Kentstown ladies enjoyed a good 4-0 win against Cavan Town Ladies in the North East Women's Football League as they recovered for a 1-3 first round defeat by Kilmessan last week.
 
Two goals from Naoise de Graaf and one each by Sarah Crosby and Shannon Coffey secured the points for Kentstown. 
Kells had a good 2-0 win against Kilmessan with goals from Edwina Olwill and Roisin McFadden who also rererees in the North Eastern Counties Schoolboys' League. 
In the remaining game Kingscourt beat Dundalk by 2-0 to go top of the table.
