Meath win in Trim

Meath took on Louth in a SF challenge this evening at St Loman's Park, Trim and won the tussle by 1-13 to 1-10.

The game marked the opening of the Trim GAA club's impressive facilities which have been in use for the last four years.

The game was scheduled to start at 6pm, but was a little behind schedule and only finished at about 7.50pm.

Meath were ahead by 0-7 to 0-5 at the interval and found the net from an Andrew Tormey penalty after the resumption.

The crowd was estimated at around 400.

Meath will play Longford or Wicklow in the Leinster SFC next month on Saturday 15th June.
