Kevin Fagan's gala concert date

Slane-based teacher Kevin Fagan (21), is performing at a gala concert in aid of The Children's Medical and Research Foundation and The IRFU Charitable Trust, on Friday 7th December, in The Helix, Dublin, Kevin, from Castletown, is a teacher in Slane National School, and is a tenor. He has taken on many roles in musical societies, the most recent being Tobias in Trim Musical Society's 'Sweeney Todd', for which he got nominated for Best Male Singer at AIMS. This year, Kevin reached the final 100 singers in Andrew Lloyd Webber's UK search for 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. Over the past couple of years, he has performed at many Camille Music events, including 'The Sound of Musicals' and masterclasses with West End star, Peter Corry. At the Dublin concert, the Band of An Garda Siochana will be joined by a chorus of over 360 voices for an evening of popular classical and inspirational music for all ages to enjoy. Schools taking part in this very worthwhile event include Terenure College Senior and Junior schools, Blackrock College, Clongowes Wood College, Alexandra College Junior School and Maynooth Post Primary. World renowned Soprano Fiona Murphy will be joined by tenor Kevin to lead this evening of music. Other groups participating include Camille Music Choirs and The Juliette Dance Academy.
