Mighty Session in Navan on Friday

Comhaltas Craobh Na hUaimhe branch will be hosting a 'Mighty Session' for charity on Friday 26th October, with a night music, song and dance featuring a host of talent from Navan and further afield. Over 30 musicians, singers and dancers will be taking part in the night of super traditional entertainment! Local musicians and dancers will be joined by All-Ireland champions from Ceoltoiri Rath Cairn, who have featured in Fleadhanna Cheoil, the Oireachtas and on TG4, Ceoltoiri Carolan (Harps), Set, Step and Sean Nos dancing. Musicians will be joined on the night by the one and only Martin Donohoe (Mr Fleadh Cheoil) and his multi-talented family from Cavan. Harps, flutes, whistles, fiddles, bodhrans, banjos, guitars, mandolins, uilleann pipes will all be there to make a mighty sound. There will be lighthearted entertainment along the way for young and old, the focus will be on good craic and entertainment. Tickets are available from the Solstice Navan price €15. All proceeds go to local Meal on Wheels and St Vincent dePaul.
